Beautiful Bess Update -

Final weight is 43.5 ounces with a 3S-1P 2980 battery, span (upper wing) is 60 inches, wing area is 600 square inches, wing loading is 10.44 ounces per square foot. I will have to see if that is enough battery.  It should be able to carry a 3000 mah without any trouble.  Ralph Snow -   ralphsnow (at) alum.mit.edu

Okay, so it isn’t a model, but we’d like to find a model of the Varga Kachina. Greg Judy recently purchased this one to replace his Cessna 172 that was destroyed in a hangar fire.  Greg & Ralph Snow are interested in building models, so let them know if you know of plans and/or kits.

1979 Varga Kachina 2150A, 150 HP, 130 mph, 2 seat - tandem - great visibility and a lot of fun!
